Hello and thanks for stopping by my Wild River Log Homes website.  I’ve been in the log home business since ’99 when I built my first log home in the North Branch, MN area.  I became a dealer back then and have built many log homes and log cabins in both Minnesota and Wisconsin since.

I’m located east of North Branch, MN, not too far from the Wild River State Park and Wild Mountain Recreational Area.  Taylors Falls is about fifteen minutes from me as well.  I use my own log home as my model and show it by appointment.  I also hold open houses here from time to time throughout the year so keep an eye on my event schedule.  I’m very flexible for appointments and can meet with you just about any time. Evenings, week days and weekends all work to get together.  Being I’m less than an hour from the metro you don’t have to drive hundreds of miles and spend a full day or weekend to meet with me and visit about your log home plans and ideas.  My log home is a custom prow plan that is 1640 sq. ft. on the first floor and 320 in the loft. I went with half log construction and have some log on the interior as well.  You can see photos of my model under construction and completed in my model photo album. 

From an idea and a drawing to your completed dream log home my builders and myself are here to make the process as easy as possible.  There are many steps to getting your log home completed and we are here to walk you through those steps.  Site visits, getting the plans drawn, bidding, permits, wells and septics to the construction phase are all part of what we do for you.  I have an excellent team of builders throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. We build 10 to 15 homes each year between both states.  Over the years we have built log homes all over Minnesota, from south of the cities to the Canadian border. The same holds true for log homes in Wisconsin.  With our builder network we can offer full service builder support to take care of the whole project.  If you want to do some work on your log home, that is fine with us.  Using your “sweat equity” can be very rewarding. 

On a personal note, I do enjoy more things than just log homes.  I grew up spending time outdoors and still enjoy it. As you may have noticed by the picture, I like to bass fish.  Smallmouth bass are my preference. I also like to snowmobile, ATV and just about anything else outdoors. It is great living near the Wild River State Park and taking advantage of the horseback trails, hiking trails and the St. Croix River.  I also enjoy taking pictures of the wildlife that is out my back door as well as in my travels. All the photos on this website have been taken by me over the last few years.
